I wish I could say this was my catch but it's not.  Still, worthy of sharing!

Recently, a buddy of mine was crappie fishing out on Cataract.  He was using a small 5 ft crappie pole with 2lb diameter (10lb test) power pro line.  He thought he got snagged but then his line started moving.  After about a 45 minute fight, he finally managed to get this fish in the net.  Considering he was by himself, that was quite a feat!  Anyway, it measured 43 inches long and was estimated to be around 55lbs.  -it was caught just a few weeks ago and released to be caught again!
